The founder of English Garden, John Williams, believes that every step of the process is equally important, and be it the quality of the teas or their presentation, they should be “the best they can be”.

REAL Fruit Smoothies
CAFE TRADE offers a simple way to make REAL fruit smoothies that are nutritious, tasty and very popular with consumers.
We supply you with ready-packaged individual sachets of frozen fruit, all pre-measured, chopped and combined into tasty smoothie recipes. All you have to do is blend the fruit with fruit juice. Nothing else is added. No powders, no syrups – not even ice.
To ensure the product is of the highest quality, freshly harvested fruit is individually quick frozen (IQF) to lock in the goodness and maximise shelf life (up to 2 years if kept frozen). Once blended with fruit juice, the natural flavours of the fruit are released along with all the vitamins and minerals.
Each sachet portion, when mixed with 200ml of fruit juice, creates a 12 ounce smoothie (340 ml).
SIX Flavours to Choose From
- Pineapple Surprise (pineapple, mango, pear)
- Strawberry Delight (strawberry, banana, peach)
- Blueberry Bliss (wild blueberry, raspberry, mango, papaya)
- Raspberry Dream (raspberry, mango, papaya, grape)
- Cranberry Squeeze (cranberry, pineapple, mandarin, grape)
- Strawberry Refresher (strawberry, sour cherry, grape)
Taylerson’s Malmesbury Syrups
In 2007 John Taylerson started Malmesbury Syrups from scratch using local spring water and carefully selected ingredients. Produced on a countryside estate on the edge of the Cotswolds, these syrups have been created to offer a truly artisan type product. Using an old fashioned system for pasteurisation, for example, means the ingredients are picked for flavour rather than cost.
Taste the difference? Well, it seems that awards for the flavours confirm that people love the quality.
The Malmesbury Syrups range has been designed with independent coffee shops in mind, especially those looking for the little extra touches that set them apart from the rest. Fashions change and flavours reflect fashions.
“Tastes, flavours, seasons and service are the battle ground that independants can fight on”, says John Taylerson. “Sourcing from this country is also proving a competitive advantage”.
Taylerson’s Malmesbury Syrups are available from CAFÉ TRADE. They are a great way to increase margins on coffee sales. Coffee Shops can get a 100% return on a bottle. A 1 litre bottle will have 120+ shots – at 30p a shot that’s a very definite return and a very small addition to the cost of the customer’s cup of coffee.
Also available – Frappe Syrups
