Taylerson’s Malmesbury Syrups
In 2007 John Taylerson started Malmesbury Syrups from scratch using local spring water and carefully selected ingredients. Produced on a countryside estate on the edge of the Cotswolds, these syrups have been created to offer a truly artisan type product. Using an old fashioned system for pasteurisation, for example, means the ingredients are picked for flavour rather than cost.
Taste the difference? Well, it seems that awards for the flavours confirm that people love the quality.
The Malmesbury Syrups range has been designed with independent coffee shops in mind, especially those looking for the little extra touches that set them apart from the rest. Fashions change and flavours reflect fashions.
“Tastes, flavours, seasons and service are the battle ground that independants can fight on”, says John Taylerson. “Sourcing from this country is also proving a competitive advantage”.
Taylerson’s Malmesbury Syrups are available from CAFÉ TRADE. They are a great way to increase margins on coffee sales. Coffee Shops can get a 100% return on a bottle. A 1 litre bottle will have 120+ shots – at 30p a shot that’s a very definite return and a very small addition to the cost of the customer’s cup of coffee.
Also use for making Frappes, Milkshakes and adding flavour to Hot Chocolate, Porridge and a whole lot more…
Also available – Mulling Syrup. Simply add to wine or cider and heat slowly.
